Vice-President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, has endorsed 'Maharshi' as a message-oriented film that everyone can watch.  

"I have watched the movie with my family members.  The village backdrop and the ideas of agricultural preservation and the need to stand with the farmer are driven home by the film, which brings out the importance of ensuring the well-being of villagers," the VP said.

Congratulating the producers, he added, "Sri Mahesh Babu has given a very natural performance.  Sri Vamshi Paidipally has executed the film so well." 

An elated Mahesh thanked Naidu for the appreciation.  "Sir.. This is such an honour for me personally and our whole team... It can't get better than this. Thank you, Sir, your words have inspired us to keep doing more films like 'Maharshi' on behalf of Team Maharshi... humbled, Sir," the superstar tweeted out.
