Mahesh Babu remembers timeless classic

It was on this day in 1965 that 'Thene Manasulu', Superstar Krishna's first movie, hit the screens. Directed by Adurthi Subba Rao, the film also starred Rammohan, Sandhya Rani and Sukanya. KV Mahadevan was its music director.

As the cult movie turns 55, Mahesh Babu today became nostalgic. "My all-time favourite is the timeless classic 'Thene Manasulu'. Our evergreen Superstar Krishna garu's journey begun on this day 55 years back with that movie. What a Blockbuster beginning. Let's take a moment to go back to the legendary journey of our SUPERSTAR," the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor writes.

Mahesh recently donated Rs 1 Cr to the Telugu States and another Rs 25 lakh to the Corona Crisis Charity fund of the Telugu film industry.
