Mahesh Babu joins the race ?

There has been a stiff competition for the Telugu remake rights of Tamil super hit film 'Thani Oruvan' and there were reports that Ram Charan is keen on acting in the movie.

But if the latest reports are to be believed, Mohan Raja, who directed the original, wants to cast only Mahesh Babu in the remake as he thinks only the Superstar is apt for the lead role. Raja is also said to have arranged a special screening for the 'Srimanthudu' actor.

But Mahesh said many times that he is against doing remakes and we will have to wait and see if he gives his nod to act in this movie.
