Mahesh Babu may be relaxing at home but he has also pulled off a record. His Sankranthi release, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', which was aired on TV on March 25, was watched by a record number of people.
The World Television Premiere of the action-comedy, directed by Anil Ravipudi, garnered 23.4 TVR.
Two factors seem to have helped the telecast a big deal. The lockdown, during which TV has become the biggest and only source of entertainment for families. And the festive time mood.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna, Vijayashanthi, Prakash Raj and others, the film had music by Devi Sri Prasad.
