On the occasion of Vijayashanthi's 55th birthday on June 24, Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to send a heartfelt message to his Sarileru Neekevvaru co-star. With Anil Ravipudi's Sarileru Neekevvaru, Vijayashanthi returned to film industry after a break of 13 years.

Vijayashanthi is an actor producer and politician. She is lovingly referred as the "Lady Superstar", "Lady Amitabh", and "The Action Queen of Indian Cinema", and has acted in more than 180 film in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Mahesh Babu, who will shortly resume filming for Sarkaru Vaari Paata, took to Twitter on Thursday, June 24 to wish Vijayashanthi a happy 55th birthday. He took to Twitter and wrote Happy birthday @vijayashanthi_m garu! Wishing you all the joy, peace and great health always!"

Sarileru Neekevvaru stars Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and is directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film also has Vijayashanthi, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Sangeetha, and Tanikella Bharani, among others.
