Mahesh Bhatt follows 'Sadak' way for 'Mona Darling'

Mahesh Bhatt who is known to be vocal about his likes and dislikes about films recently saw the trailer of the film 'Mona Darling'. He liked it so much that he shot for an anti-promotional campaign for the film 'Mona Darling' in which he states 5 reasons why not to watch the film with the film's leading man and producer, Anshuman Jha.

Ironically, Bhatt had done something similar in 1991 with his film 'Sadak' when he had told people to not watch the film if they didn't have the stomach for it. "Anshuman is an acting talent. But when, as a young producer, he showed me the trailer of Mona Darling and told me the idea of an anti campaign, I was blown away by his guts. It's a high-concept, slick-looking contemporary film with the producer putting his money where his mouth is. I told him I would voice his anti-campaign," Bhatt said.

Anshuman added, "Bhatt saab is an inspiration. And his appreciation for the film is a shot in the arm for us. Support good content so that we can make good content is the idea behind this anticampaign."

Produced by First Ray Films, India's first social media thriller 'Mona Darling' is set to release on February 24.
