Mahesh's character gets elevated as a Rishi, again!

We have to accept a reality. Film after film, Mahesh Babu will play characters that will be hailed to the skies and glorified in superlative terms. It happened in 'Srimanthudu'. It got repeated in the following films, especially 'Maharshi', where the lead man's character became The Great Rishi by taking to farming even as the rest of us lowly creatures continue to work in cities as software engineers and journalists and doctors.
In 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', we are once again in for much the same. As the lyrics of 'Sooryudivo Chandrudivo' show, Mahesh's character will be put on the highest possible pedestal. Director Anil Ravipudi has shared the first few lines of the song, which will be unveiled on Monday, at 5:04 pm.
Playing a Maharshi, an Unmatched Soldier-Cum-Healer-Cum-Lover is now a genre in itself as far as Mahesh is concerned.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, this Vijayashanthi-Prakash Raj-Rashmika movie will hit the screens on January 11.
