Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and starring also Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde, 'Maharshi' will release on May 9. "The film is one of the finest scripts in Vamshi's career. We think it will be one of the best in Mahesh's career," Dil Raju recently said.

Mahesh is currently set to bankroll 'Major', starring Adivi Sesh as the hero, on G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. "I love cinema. I love all forms of cinema. My production house is being run by a very competent team," the charming actor recently said.

Post 'Maharshi', Anil Ravipudi's Sankranthi release in 2020 will happen.
