Mahesh into direction

Following the likes of Madhupal and Lal, another character actor of Malayalam is debuting into direction. Mahesh, who was a busy character actor in the nineties, is trying for a comeback, but this time it is behind the camera. He will be calling the shots for a film scripted by Babu Janaardhanan and Guess who all are in his cast list?
Mahesh has already secured the dates of young star Prithviraj and Mukesh for playing his lead roles. He is also planning to bring in Sumalatha to be in an important character of the film which he has tentatively titled as 'Oomakathu'.
The movie will be produced by Nanthyattu films.
