'Majili' does best gross via US premiers

'Majili' has got the initial momentum right. As per latest box-office reports, the romantic drama collected about USD 163,000 through Premiers in the US. The Shiva Nirvana directorial opened in 130 locations.

This is the highest for a Naga Chaitanya movie. Even the much-hyped 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu' could make USD 108,000 (Gross), a source says.

Industry personalities and the audience alike are giving rave reviews to 'Majili' on social media. Samantha's performance, Gopi Sunder's songs and the situational humour are working big-time it seems.

The film has no major competitor till April 12 (when 'Chitralahari' releases).
