Renowned ad film maker Mahesh is making his maiden directorial venture titled Kaaliyan. The film is termed to be a period film and Malayalam young sensation Prithviraj will be seen as lead role in the film.
The movie has got a concrete story after doing extensive research work.
B.T Anil Kumar’s script has got a concrete form after doing extensive research work for nearly five years. The recent blockbuster period film Baahubali has got huge success in box office.
However, the Kaaliyan makers are confirmed that the movie is not like Baahubali. They are planning to make Kaaliyan as more realistic with minimal graphic works. Kaaliyan revolves around the story of Kunchirakkottu Kali, a warrior who lived in the 17th century in Venad. And it has been stated that veteran actor Sathyaraj will be seen in important role in the movie.
