Actress Malavika Mohanan had made her Tamil debut with the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer pongal 2019 release Petta. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie had her playing Sasikumar's pair.

Following this Malavika Mohanan was signed to play the female lead in Master starring Vijay and this Lokesh Kanagaraj directed movie has been completed and is ready to release soon. Recently Malavika Mohanan was signed to star in Dhanush's 43rd movie directed by Karthick Naren as well.

Now Malavika Mohanan is set to play the lead role in a web series. Malavika Mohanan will play the female lead in an action packed web series starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Raj and DK known for directing the superhit series "The family man". This new web series of Malavika Mohanan will release on Amazon prime.
