Malavika Mohanan resumes shooting for Dhanush's 'Maaran' in Chennai! - Exclusive Update

Malavika Mohanan was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's blockbuster 'Master' alongside Thalapathy Vijay. She is now playing the female lead and Dhanush's romantic interest in Karthick Naren's 'Maaran'. Malavika Mohanan was shooting for the upcoming flick 'Maaran' in Hyderabad for almost a month since July.

The makers of the movie wrapped up the Hyderabad schedule this month (August). Dhanush has wrapped up his portions in the Hyderabad schedule which was supposed to be the final schedule of the film. However, the Maaran team still has few portions to be shot. The latest update is that Malavika has resumed shooting for 'Maaran' in Chennai now.

Yesterday, Taking to Instagram stories, Malavika Mohanan shared that she is currently in Chennai with a picture of lotus and temple. She captioned the post, "Namma Chennai." On August 27 (Today), the sensational actress also shared a boomerang video of herself from the shooting spot of Maaran at 1.23 am. Sharing the clip, she headlined the post "1:23 AM #D43."

Backed by Sathya Jyothi Films, GV Prakash composes music for Maaran while lyricist Vivek pens the lyrics. Apart from the leads, the star cast of Maaran includes Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and Mahendran. On the work front, Dhanush has completed shooting for 'The Gray Man' with Russo Brothers and is currently shooting for 'Thiruchitrambalam'. Also, he is all set to star in the bilingual project directed by Sekhar Kammula.
