Actress Malavika made her Tamil film debut in 1999 with Ajith starrer 'Unnai Thedi'. She got married to Sumesh Menon in the year 2007 and quit showbiz in the year 2009. Though she is away from the films for more than a decade she still enjoys a huge fan base in social media.

Actress Malavika, who is active on social media, especially on Instagram, has thousands of followers and the photos she posts from time to time go viral. She recently took a vacation to the Maldives along with her family.

She posted some breathtaking photos from this trip and captioned it " Travelling in the company of those we love is home in motion !!". Fans cant believe that she has two kids who are in their teens. It is also notable that these pictures are currently going viral on social media platforms.

On the professional front, Malavika was last seen in the 2009 film Aarupadai. She made a guest appearance in this movie and later kept a full stop to the film industry but her fans are waiting for her second innings in Kollywood.
