Mallika to shake a leg as Laila in 'Tezz

After Zeenat Aman and Yana Gupta, it’s the turn of hot “Jalebi Bai” to be a “Laila”…. We are talking about Mallika Sherawat who will be shaking a leg in ‘Tezz’ for an item number titled Laila.

The song, which is currently being canned at the Filmistan Studio, Goregaon in Mumbai, is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and is crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Editor TS Suresh who is working on the film wrote on his microblogging page, “The track Laila sang by Sunidhi Chauhan has music by Sajib – Wajid. Costumes are designed by Ashley Rebello! Can’t wait to edit the song!”

A huge set has been erected to shoot this song that features Mallika Sherawat, Ajay Devgn and Zayeed Khan. However Ajay Devgn and Zayeed Khan will not be dancing in the song but will be seen in it. It is further said that Mallika will be seen in one of her most glamorous looks in this track that will do away from her earlier item numbers.

“This song will be shot against a backdrop of London and will not have any desi flavour, so it will be very much different from Mallika’s earlier tracks”, says a source close to the development. 'Laila Laila...' will be shot for the next four days in Mumbai.
