Mallu Singh earns big bucks

Young director Vysakh has completed a hat trick of successful movies with his latest 'Mallu Singh ' turning a big hit. The movie which suffered some setback in the opinion side in the initial days have now emerged the biggest earner among the movies that was released in the first week of May. According to the sources close to the movie, 'Mallu Singh' has already earned a gross of 4.35 crores from its five week collections from the seventy plus release centres. The movie is moving on in a steady manner in much of the release centres.

Featuring Kunchakko Boban and Unni Mukundan in the lead, 'Mallu singh' is currently screened in 57 release centres in its fifth week. As per the trade sources the movie will at least bring in another one crore gross from its further theatrical collections. Adding to that is the satellite rights that the movie managed at around three crores, which will make it a profitable venture for its producer Anto Joseph' who was in turmoil following the big flops in 'The king and the Commissioner' and 'Cobra'
