'Mamangam' Teaser: Exciting, neat, rich

The Teaser of 'Mamangam' is out. Dubbed from Malayalam, this one is a historical period film that is based on a festival named Mamankam, which is of Kerala's Malabar region origin. A story set in the year 1695, it tells the culmination of a 280-year war.
As per Wikipedia, the martial arts-based film follows the story of Chaaverukal warriors who plot to overthrow the Zamorin rulers. The visuals in the Teaser suggest that we are in for a meticulously-executed movie.
Mollywood superstar Mammootty plays the lead man in this film that has Unni Mukundan in the second most important role. Directed by M Padmakumar, it has Prachi Tehlan, Siddique, Achuthan and others in key roles.
VFX supervision is by Kamalkannan, whose most recent work, 'Sye Raa', has come in for superlative praises. M Jayachandran and Manoj Pillai have done the music and cinematography.
Release date: November 21.
