Director Ram after his pathbreaking 'Taramani' has helmed 'Peranbu' which is already making waves in the international film festival circuits. First it impressed at the World Premiere at the 47th Rotterdam International Film Festival in January and now it bows at the 21st Shanghai Film Festival which is the biggest in the Asian region. The film will be shown on 16th June at 3,45pm at Shanghai Hongkou JinYI cinema, 17th June at 3.45pm at the Aurora International Cinema - Shanghai Global Harbour and at 8.45pm on 19th June at the The Grand New International cinema.

'Peranbu' written and directed by Ram has Mammootty, Anjali, Samuthirakani and Suraj Venjaramood in the cast. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Theni Easwar, editing by Suriya Pradhaman and produced by P.L. Thenappan under the banner Sri Raajalakshmi Films.
