Mammootty as a kabaddi player

Mammootty will play the role of a kabaddi captain in his upcoming movie 'Thopil Joppen'. He will play the title character who is the kabaddi captain of the Thopramkudi team. The movie is being directed by Johny Anthony. 'Thopil Joppen' is set in and around Kattapana.
Mammootty will play a typical acchayan role in the movie complete with the Kattapana slang. The script is by Nishad Koya. The makers have revealed that the movie will have moments of romance, comedy, heroism and sentiments. The movie is expected to be an out and out Mammootty movie, which fans would love to watch. Vidyasagar helms the music department. The movie will go on floors by April.
