Mammotty has a peculiar taste in acting in legendary characters and historical heroes. The year had him in one such role in the movie 'Balyakalasakhy'. And now it is learned that there is a possibility for the actor to appear soon as a Cheraman Perumal, the legendary ruler from South India.
It was Mammootty himself who posted in his official page in a social networking forum about a director who has approached him to make a movie on Cheraman Perumal's life and play the lead role in it . If all goes well, this constant companion of epic movies like 'Pazhassi Raja' and 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' will be seen soon as Cheraman Perumal.
