Meet Mammootty - 'The Priest'

The much-awaited first look poster of Mammootty-Manju Warrier starrer upcoming movie 'The Priest' is out! The intriguing poster features Mammootty wearing a bishop's like cassock and reading a bible. Within minutes after the poster was unveiled, it has taken social media by storm.
Written and directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, the movie's screenplay and dialogues are penned by Deepu Pradeep and Shyam Mohan. Mammootty and Manju Warrier are sharing screen space for the very first time despite being in the industry for decades. Mammootty who has never failed to impress the audience with different roles is playing an unconventional priest in the flick. The film also has Nikhila Vimal and Saniya Ayappan in important roles.
Jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu the film has Akhil George of ‘Iblis’ fame as the cinematographer and Rahul Raj as the music director. Editing is by Shameer Muhammed. It remains to see what's in the stores for us next.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s Shylock is gearing up for release on January 23.
