WOW! Mammootty's 'The Great Father' beats Bahubali's lifetime count

We had earlier reported that the first look motion poster of Mammootty's most awaited movie 'The Great Father' has gone viral on social media. The 55 seconds long motion poster which was released on January 31st got overwhelming response from audience and celebrities alike.
And now, in less than 3 days, the video has fetched over 8 lakhs 50 thousand views on YouTube with over 35,000 likes. It is the first motion poster in Malayalam Cinema that has created such a huge trend on social media. Interestingly, the likes count for Great Father's motion poster has surpassed the life time likes count of 'Bahubali: The Conclusion' motion poster (which had over 32,000 likes). Wow!
Written and directed by debutant Haneef Adeni, 'The Great Father' features Mammooty and Sneha in the lead roles along with Kollywood actor Arya in an important role. This upcoming action revenge thriller is jointly produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Santosh Sivan, Arya and Shaji Natesan under the banner August Cinemas. The movie is expected to hit the big screens on March.
