Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on the sequel of Mammootty’s 'Big B'. Titled 'Bilal' i's been two years since the movie was announced and there have been no news regarding the project for quite some time now!

The latest news we have is the movie is getting ready to go on floors soon. A day ago, the movie's music director Gopi Sunder, who composed the prequel as well, shared a picture with Amal Neerad on his social media page, hinting that the duo has started working on the project.

"Me and my brother amal for our BILAL ❤️ need your prayers ??,"," read Gopi Sunder's caption. It is to be noted that the musician's iconic composition for the requel 'Big B' is still celebrated by Mammootty fans!

'Big B', which is considered to be a cult classic gangster tale, starred Mammootty in the title role with veteran actress Nafisa Ali playing the female lead. The others in the star cast in supporting roles included Manoj K Jayan, Bala, Mamta Mohandas, Bala, Sumit Naval, Shereveer Vakil, Pasupathy and Vijayaraghavan.

An official announcement regarding the cast and crew of the Sequel is expected in the coming days.
