A ghastly incident took place on Wednesday morning in Hyderabad. A 19-year-old Intermediate student, named Bharat, assaulted a second-year student with a sickle because she refused to talk to him. The victim has been admitted to Yashodha Hospital. Her hands are severely bruised.

Bharat has been arrested after a police hunt. While interrogation is on, it's reported that he resorted to the inhuman attack because the girl kept on rejecting his proposals to love him.

The media reports say that Bharat was recently taken to counsellors after the girl approached a She Team in Hyderabad. Alas, the wise counsel fell on Bharat's deaf ears!
