Man falls on Metro tracks, leg cut off by train

A 57-year-old man, who accidentally fell on the tracks of a metro station in Delhi, lost his right leg after being severed by the train, with the left leg being badly injured.

Security footage reportedly showed the man waiting on the Dilshad Garden station along with his wife, standing on the edge of the platform. He lost balance and accidentally fell on the tracks before the train ran over his leg. The man has been identified as Zachariah Koshy of Ghaziabad.

The 57-year-old is apparently in a critical condition right now, while treatment is in progress. His wife was fortunately not injured in the accident.
