Man kills himself after watching girlfriend gang-raped

In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old man has committed suicide after watching two men rape his minor girlfriend in front of him. The incident has happened in Chhattisgarh's Korba district. The man is identified as Savan Sai and during the police investigation on his suicide, his girlfriend has revealed about the rape.

Two persons Ishwar Das and Kanwar have been arrested pertaining to this on the charges of gang-raping and abetment to suicide. Sai’s girlfriend is 17 years old. Police stated that Sai might have taken the extreme step due to guilt and shame after the two criminals told some of their village youth friends about the incident.
