Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Manamantha, coming with the caption 'One world, four stories', will be releasing on Aug 5. Starring the versatile Mohanlal in a key role, it has the talented Gouthami playing a traditional woman's role. Thus, the Iruvar/Iddaru pair is back. It tells the stories of four people belonging to a humble background set in a middle-class backdrop.

The news is that the film has been certified a clean U by the Censor Board. With the completion of censor formalities well in advance, the film is sure to hit the screens on the 5th of next month.

"Manamantha is a human drama with simple emotions and subtle sensibilities. It follows the journey of four people at different phases in their life: childhood, youth, and adulthood. And how, in this small world, the choices we make often intersect and collide with the paths of others - creating endless ripples that change us forever," the makers say.

Also starring Viswant, Raina Rao, Anisha Ambrose (of Run fame), Urvasi, Nassar, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Parachuri Venkateswara Rao, Vennela Kishore, Dhanraj, Praveen, Naveen Neni, Harshavardhan, Ayyappa P Sharma, etc.

The film is produced by Sai Korrapati. Music is by Mahesh Shankar. Cinematography is by Rahul Sreevasthav. This bi-lingual will be released as Vismayam in Malayalam. In Tamil, it will be released as a dubbed version as Namadhu. A highlight is that Mohanlal is lending his voice for the first time for a Telugu film. He is acting in a Telugu movie 22 years after Gandivam happened.
