Mani Ratnam's announcement about his next film

Ace director Mani Ratnam seems to have revealed the release plans of his next film in a media interaction when he was in London recently.
The acclaimed filmmaker had reportedly stated that he plans to release his next film for summer 2016 and the shoot of the film will begin towards the end of this year.
It is worth recalling that Mani Ratnam's latest film O Kadhal Kanmani' released in April 2015 was not just a super hit but also a refreshing change to the veteran director's career.
However Mani Ratnam's next film is yet to be officially announced and the title is also not confirmed. The film reportedly stars Karthi and Dulquer Salman as male leads while Keerthy Suresh and Shruthi Haasan are in talks with the team to play the female leads. The director's regular companion A.R.Rahman will compose the music while Ravi Varman is in charge for cinematography.
