Mani Ratnam hospitalised

Mani Ratnam was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday night due to cardiac problems. Though doctors did not reveal the exact details, they maintained that he is stable.

"The family doesn`t want information about his medical condition to be made public so we are not authorised to share any details," an official at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital was quoted as saying.

Mani's 'OK Kanmani', which is running successfully in theatres, announced the comeback of the maverick filmmaker. He was expected to start his next film with Dhanush soon.
