The recent Malayalam survival thriller, 'Manjummel Boys', created waves in Indian cinema. It emerged as the highest grosser in the Malayalam film industry and became one of the biggest hits this year. Now, the film has landed in legal trouble. The court has ruled to freeze the bank account of the producers.

Siraj Valiyathara of Aroor filed a petition against the makers of the film in a local court. The complaint says that he financed 7 crores to the producers of 'Manjummel Boys', who had promised him a 40 percent share from the profits. But they haven't paid him even after the film has grossed more than 200 crores at the box office.

The case came up for an argument in the local court today. The judge ordered the officials to freeze the bank accounts of Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony. Also, a notice was sent to the producers by the court. The movie team hasn't responded to the issue till now. 'Manjummel Boys' revolves around a group of friends who are set out to rescue their friend who fell in a pit inside the 'Gunaa' caves.
