'Manmadhudu-2' does moderate pre-release biz

'Manmadhudu-2', starring Akkineni Nagarjuna in the role of a middle-aged bachelor, will release on August 9. The comedy entertainer is directed by Rahul Ravindran, the actor who debuted as a director with 'Chi La Sow' last year.
Early trade reports say that this remake of a French film has done a pre-release business of Rs 21 Cr in terms of theatrical rights. After the failure of 'Officer' and 'DevaDas' last year, this is moderately decent.
Starring Rakul Preet Singh, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Lakshmi, Jhansi and others, the film's audio was recently released. Its music is by Chaitan Bharadwaj. The film faces practically no major competition until August 15.
