Manoj's new film goes on floors

Manchu Manoj may be a bit shaken after the failure of Jhummandi Nadam, but he is back to the business with a new film. Titled as Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara, the film stars Deeksha Seth in the role of female lead. Directed by Shekar Raja, the film has music by Bobo Sasi (Bindaas fame).

Interestingly, it sees Nandamuri Balakrishna playing a guest role. In his long career, this is the first time that Balakrishna will be seen playing a celebrated cameo. Though his contemporaries like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh have been seen in guest roles in the past, Balayya never did a guest appearance.

The film's shooting began at Manikonda, for which a special set was erected.

Being produced by Lakshmi Manchu, the romantic comedy is slated for a January, 2012 release.
