'Mappillai' on fast track

Producer Hitesh Jabak of Nemichand Productions has once again proved that his forthcoming venture 'Mappillai', starring Dhanush, is so important to him.
A few weeks back, Jabak denied media reports that he had made up his mind to drop the prestigious project, which features the son-in-law in the shoes of the Superstar father-in-law.
In order to fully concentrate on the movie, which is a remake of a Rajinikanth blockbuster of the same title, the noted producer of Tamil cinema has sold 'Naan Avan Illai -2', his other production venture, on a 'first copy basis' to one Ranjan, a distributor.
Directed by Selva, ÂNaan Avan Illai - 2Â is a sequel of 'Naan Avan Illai'. Quite like the first part, Jeevan will be seen in many get-ups. The film has five heroines opposite Jeevan.
Coming back to 'Mappillai', sources have it that D Imman has finished composing five songs for the film, which is to be directed by Suraaj. Other pre-production works too are going on in a fast track, it is learnt.
