The fantasy drama film "Maragathamalai" has been specially crafted to entertain children. Produced, written, and directed by S. Latha under the banner of L.G. Movies, this project marks her directorial debut. The film stars Santhosh Prathap in the lead role, with Deepashikha playing the female lead. It also features performances by Master Sashanth, Arima, Mahidra, Kalaikko, Thambi Ramaiah, and Sampath Ram.

The story is set in the 18th century and follows a fantasy theme that includes various creatures like tigers, elephants, dragons, gorillas, snakes, and horses. According to director S. Latha, the movie showcases a grand fantasy setting filled with magical elements. Currently, VFX work is ongoing to enhance the visuals, and the release is scheduled for this month.

Filming took place in the scenic Thada forest area, where a massive set was constructed to bring the fantasy world to life. Music is composed by L.V. Muthukrishnan, and cinematography is done by P.G. Muthiah.

The first look of the movie is expected to be unveiled soon, promising a visual treat for the audience, especially children who will enjoy its adventure and fantasy elements.
