Amidst biggies this Deepavali, debutant director Sivaraman has managed the guts to come out with a movie starring newcomers. On the face of it, it is a usual love story but stuffed with interesting twists and turns.

Debutant Yoga and child artiste-turned-heroine Poornitha play the lead roles. The director has managed to come up with a fairly engrossing movie.

Yoga (Yoga) works as a delivery boy in a gas agency. He picks up a quarrel with his boss and eventually flees the scene taking away his car. He little realizes that he had taken away the car with Renu (Poornitha) his boss's sister. A man hunt is on for Yoga for kidnapping Renu.

Yoga has a past to narrate to Renu. Son of a businessman, Yoga aspires to join the army. Unfortunately his father's demise leaves his family at the mercy of his uncle (a local thug), who insists that he marry his daughter. Picking up a fight with him, Yoga escapes from the town to join as a delivery boy in the gas agency company.

Attracted by his pleasant ways, Renu develops an affinity towards him. The rest is about how the two manage to convince their families and Yoga takes up a job in the army.

Debutant Yoga has done a good job. Utilizing the opportunity well, the young hero does perform well in stunt and dance sequences. Poornitha looks promising. She has a spontaneity that will come handy in the days to come.

Dheena has come up with peppy music. The other technical aspects are okay.

Director Sivaraman can be lauded for his honest attempt. He has not shortchanged the audience. That in itself is a plus.
