'Mariyaan' Postponed Once Again

Bharat Bala's Dhanush starrer 'Mariyaan' was scheduled for a June 27th release. But as we can see clearly, there is hardly any advertising. And it turns out that the movie is not releasing now after all. Sources close to the 'Mariyaan' team leak that the movie is pushed to July. Then again, considering competition, producer Aascar Ravichandran does not want it to come alongside Suriya's 'Singam 2', releasing on July 5th. So 'Mariyaan' is most likely to be a mid July release. An official declaration on the finalized release date is awaited.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is happy with his Bollywood debut 'Raanjhnaa' kicking into a big success. Despite belonging to a hardcore Tamil background, his Hindi was flawless in the movie, so as his acting, which critics are in awe of. The Tamil counterpart of the movie, 'Ambikapathy' is releasing this week.
