Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer is spellbinding!

Indiaglitz first broke to you that the trailer of Marvel Studios' upcoming film "Doctor Strange 2" got leaked online. The video already featured in the post-credit scene of the latest MCU film "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Now, the official first look poster and teaser trailer of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" debuted online.

The 2.5-minute-long trailer was packed with complete spellbinding visuals. The promo starts with dialogues about the "multiverse" concept from No Way Home which hints that this film will continue from the point where NWH ended. Wanda played by Elizabeth Olsen returns to the MCU with this film as we reported earlier. She had brief screentime in the teaser.

The big surprise in the featurette is that we get to witness Doctor Strange Supreme (Sorcerer Supreme) version of the avenger in live-action. This variant of Stephen Strange was earlier seen in Marvel's animated series "What If...?" that is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The whole trailer itself had a huge similarity to the series What If...? Rachel McAdams is reprising her role from Doctor Strange (2016).

Dr Strange seems to have regained possession of the Eye of Agamotto which held the Time Stone in the films Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity Saga. But the whereabouts of the time stone is unknown after the Avengers returned it to the Ancient One in the Endgame. We have to wait to see if the time stone reappears or it is a multiverse scene. The video also featured a lot of spooky monsters from the multiverse.

The teaser trailer also gave us a first look at America Chavez, who is also known by her moniker Miss America, a new Marvel superhero character set to enter the MCU with the Multiverse of Madness. Sam Raimi, who directed the world-famous Marvel's first Spider-Man trilogy, is returning to Marvel Studio as a director in this film. Doctor Strange 2 is slated to hit the screens worldwide on May 6, 2022.
