Indian version of Spider-Man to debut on big screen with Marvel’s Across the Spider-Verse!

Superhero genre films gained a huge fanbase in India and its regional languages after Marvel's Avengers: Infinity Saga. Not only the live-action versions but also the animated superhero films are receiving a great reception from the Indian audience. Accordingly, the first animated movie of Marvel's web-slinger is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

It featured Marvel Comics character, Miles Morales as Spider-Man along with the American Peter Parker's version too. Into the Spider-Verse was co-produced by Sony Pictures and Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)' is the sequel to the first film. This project is being made in two parts. The first look trailer of the sequel debuted online this morning.

Now, the hot news is that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) is expected to feature the Indian version of the web-slinger alongside Miles Morales. The fans came up with this theory as the trailer had lots of Hindi and Tamil words in it with a background score resembling Indian music. This film is also said to have Spider-Man 2099 version.

Pavitr Prabhakar, an alternate version of retelling the Spider-Man story in an Indian setting debuted in Spider-Man: India comic book, will be appearing in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One). Pavitr Prabhakar encounters an ancient yogi who grants him the powers of a spider to fight the evil that threatens the world. Meanwhile, the sequel will explore Miles & Gwen's journey across the other Spideys' universes in the multiverse as the title suggests.

It is the first of a two-part sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the "Spider-Verse". It was set to focus on the relationship between Morales and Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) is scheduled to be hit the big screens on October 7 2022.
