The shooting of 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has been going nonstop ever since the film started at locations such as Shimoga and Neyveli and is now taking place in Chennai. The hot update is that the cast and crew celebrated the birthday of art director Satheesh on sets and Vijay Sethupathi planted his trademark kiss as his bday gift.

Sources say that Thalapathy who enjoyed what the Makkal Selvan did playfully put out his cheeks as well and to the delight of all those present VJS hugged and kissed Vijay to thundering applause.

The same sources share that only around twelve to fifteen days shooting is pending for 'Master' and by mid-March it will be wrapped up. It is also said that the post production for the footage that has been shot is already underway. The teaser, audio launch and the trailer launch dates will be the next surprise coming fans ways one after the other.

'Master' with music score by Anirudh Ravichander has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Arjun Das, Dheena, George Mariyaan and Shantanu Bhagyaraj. Release has been locked for April 9th 2020.
