Vijay Sethupathi's homework to change from villain to romantic hero

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the few star actors in Indian cinema to escape the trap of any image and hence is pushing himself beyond conventions to explore a variety of roles in his upcoming films. In the recently released 'Oh My Kadavule' he plays a cameo as God and in his next release 'Uppenna' he is the heroine's dad and a villain and VJS is also locking horns as the antagonist opposite Thalapathy Vijay in 'Master'
The Makkal Selvan has now signed 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan in which he will be romancing Nayanthara and Samantha. To prepare for the role the dedicated actor is said to have hit the gym to shed a lot of weight and is going to appear the slimmest ever in his career.
