Chiyaan Vikram took a break from the hectic schedule of ‘Kanthaswamy’ shooting to inaugurate four new Screens in Mayajal Complex, located in the outskirts of the city today (February 20). With this, Mayajaal Multiplex has 10 Screens and becomes the largest multiplex in Tamil Nadu.

With the opening of these four new Screens, Mayajaal has also becomes one of the largest multiplexes in Asia. The multiplex, in addition to its regular blockbuster films in Tamil, Hindi, and English languages, is expected to play host to an array of south Indian language films including Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. This, the authorities believe, would tap more customers from Chennai and Pondicheri.

Additional food court area of 15000 sq. ft. has also been added to offer a variety of Indian and international fast food brands. There will be shopping mall under the brand ‘Maya Maal’, under which apparels for men, women, and children, cosmetics, fashion jewelry, books, movies, music, gifts, toys, etc will be sold. The complex also encompasses and ‘On shore resort’ with 50 rooms and a sport village with two international cricket grounds.

With this expansion, Mayajaal offers 10 Screen Multiplex, Food Court, Shopping Mall, Sports Club, and a Resort with multiple conference halls.

In addition to this, Mayajaal Entertainment Ltd has also produced a 2D animation film ‘Jai Vigneshwara’. The movie is just completed and scheduled for a summer release.

‘Thoondil’ gets a VIP customer
