Mega heros Uppena to be shot in Puri

'Uppena', starring Chiranjeevi's nephew Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej in the lead, will be shot in Odisha's Puri from today. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the rustic entertainer will be filmed in Kolkata and Gangtok in the upcoming schedules.

With Krithi Shetty as the heroine, it has Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathy playing the antagonist. Devi Sri Prasad and Shamdat Sainudeen are taking care of music and cinematography.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this one is expected to be a 2020 release. Mythri Movie Makers, which recently announced a new-age drama titled 'Mathu Vadalara', is bankrolling the project.
