Amal Neerad's clarification on 'Big B' sequel!

It's the festival time in Kerala, and Megastar Mammootty's much-awaited sequel 'Madhura Raja', which is the sequel to 'Pokkiri Raja', is gearing up to hit theatres this month.
While fans are waiting to watch their favorite star on silver screen just before the festive occasion of Vishu, the latest buzz is that the actor will start shooting for his next sequel, Bilal aka Big B 2.
Recently it was rumored that sequel will go on floors as soon as Mammootty’s finishes shooting for Ramesh Pisharody’s 'Ganagandharvan'. Certain media sections even reported that the upcoming Amal Neerad directorial Bilal' will be a December release.
However, director Amal brushed off the rumors stating that there no updates on the sequel. He also clarified that he is currently busy with the shoot of his next 'Trance', that has Fahadh Faasil in the lead.
Bilal aka Big B 2 is said to be a prequel to the stylish action thriller, that will revolve around the events that shaped up Mammootty's character Bilal John Kurishingal in the film.
Meanwhile, Megastar Mammootty is currently busy with Shankar Ramakrishnan's 'Pathinettam Padi', which has already set the expectation meter high with its first look poster.
