Mehreen to romance Akkineni Nagarjuna in 'The Ghost'

So, who is the female lead of 'The Ghost', the Akkineni Nagarjuna-starrer? Director Praveen Sattaru has been on a hunt for a suitable actress. Months ago, Kajal Aggarwal walked out of the project due to personal reasons. There were reports that Ileana D'Cruz would step into her shoes. Then there were reports that Amala Paul had said yes. Both turned out to be false.
The latest talk of the town is that Mehreen Pirzada has joined the team of the thriller. Mehreen, who has been part of films like 'Manchi Rojulochaie' recently, must be kicked about the offer. She has been paid a fat paycheck, the buzz goes.
If she indeed gets to romance Nagarjuna, it will boost her career, given that the 'Manmadhudu 2' actor is a star hero. She is already doing 'F3', starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej. The 'Mahanubhavudu' damsel is Varun Tej's heroine in the comedy.
