Memu is the dubbed version of Pasanga-2, the Tamil film directed by Pandiraj. The predominantly children's film stars Suriya, Amala Paul, Ramdoss, Vidya Pradeep, Karthik Kumar, and Bindu Madhavi.
The film has an interesting plotline. Two kids, a girl and a boy, behave abnormally and give their parents a headache. They end up being moved from one school to another. One fine day, they end up in the hands of a psychiatrist couple, played by Suriya and Amala Paul, who find their 'taare' on the 'zameen'.
Arrol Corelli is the music director. Cinematography is by Balasubramaniem.
