Mental Police release stayed, makers speak

It's known that certain police welfare organizations recently raised objections to the title of a forthcoming Srikanth film. Objecting to the "derogatory" title, some of them filed a petition with the High Court, seeking a stay on the release of Mental Police.
The HC has reportedly ordered a stay on the release of this Srikanth starrer. Following the directive, the makers of Mental Police have decided to follow the path of conciliation. They are planning to organize a special show for representatives of the police welfare organizations so as to impress upon them that the film has no theme that offends the police department. The makers will change the title if, after watching the screening, the representatives find it offensive.
The film stars Aksha in the role of the female lead.
