Celebrity chef Damu, who recently received the prestigious Padma Shri award, took to Instagram to share a special moment—meeting actor Ajith Kumar during the award ceremony in Delhi.

This year, the Padma awards honored several distinguished personalities from Tamil Nadu, including actor Ajith, cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, and Chef Damu. The awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu on April 28 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Photos from the ceremony have since gone viral.

Sharing his excitement, Damu posted, “When I went to receive the Padma Shri award, I had the pleasure of meeting my favorite actor Ajith at Rashtrapati Bhavan. I’m so happy that he received the Padma award along with me.”

He further added, “Ajith is a very humorous and humble person. It was a joy to interact with him.”

Damu’s heartfelt post is now trending on social media, with fans celebrating the wholesome interaction between the two celebrated icons.
