Television newreader turned actress Priya Bhavanishankar has made an impressive debut in 'Meyaadha Maan' produced by Karthick Subbaraj and directed by Rathna Kumar which is admirably weathering the 'Mersal' storm at the box office.

Priya whose performance has been well received by critics and audiences has signed three films opposite Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi and Arulnithi Tamilarasu.  Among these films she will be shooting first for 'Junga' starring and produced by Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Gokul.  The film which is the costliest in VJS career is currently being shot in France and Austria with the other heroine Sayyeshaa.  Once the team returns to India, Priya Bhavanishankar's portions will begin.
