Michael Jackson's dad passes away

The late pop legend Michael Jackson's dad Joe Jackson passed awayaged 89 after battling cancer for several years. He is credited with managing the career of all his children including Michael and Janet Jackson and making them superstars.
Michael Jackson's estate has released a statement We are deeply saddened by Mr. Jackson’s passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Katherine Jackson and the family,”
Joe Jackson started his career as a boxer then switched to amateur singing before training his five children Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael who went on to carve a niche for themselves. He had eleven children in all with his wife of seventy years Katherine who survives him.
