The government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a shocking decision to cancel the midnight shows for Sankranthi releases in the state. However, Game Changer is an exemption for this since the decision has come out only yesterday evening. As per the latest development, the midnight shows for Sankranthi releases are called off.

There will be no shows at 1 AM as well as 4 AM in the state. The government has taken this key decision, in accordance with the interim orders passed by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The government withdrew the permission for the additional shows.

The reason for the cancellation of the shows is that it would be difficult for them to control the crowd coming to theaters without proper police security. The orders have been issued to screen not more than 5 shows per day for 10 days, and one of the five shows can be held as a benefit show.

The Amendment to the government's orders on additional shows will be applicable to two upcoming films, Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam.
